cycles

cycles

A Poem by Nobody.

shattered love paves the road to shattered love.

I watched you throw your heart against the wall

until it finally busted.

beer puke & pieces of you splattered all over my brand new

silver carpet.

I'll send you the cleaning bill if you survive.

later, a blackbird will sing about pain

while I sip stupidity from a frigid glass,

and dream of the beautiful wall on which

I'll bust my own heart.

some cycles can't be broken.
