Night Slide

Night Slide

A Poem by Nobody.

Scorpion shelled adventure breaks down on the backstreets of Shangri La. Driver tilts the rearview to watch Sunshine squirm in the backseat. Is it a trickle of sweat rolling down her freckled chest, or a single raindrop on the windshield? Hitchhiker pulls a rusty snake bite from his blue jean jacket. White horse falls, slow motion, into the hole. Jesus weeps.
