sing to meA Poem by Nobody.the lyrics
are fingertips
on fair skin where the
hipbone juts slightly
enough to be sexy. the tune
is a sharp inhale, just behind
the ear, and goose bumps
raise to meet its
heat with hungry
tongues and pillow
hair and rings
under their bright eyes; just enough
shadow to set color ablaze.
by the
time the chorus hits, I want to
devour you like warm waves of
lust and thrust until the
mercury rise makes the
thermometer bust, and we’re
red-faced and spent on a white
sand shore, twitchy and
giggly in a
glorious aura of sweat-mingled dew. you’ll
melt into me, I’ll stare
into you, because your
face is Paradise and your
smile; Heaven’s gate. as you
kiss my bruised passion and I lick
the ache from your bones, I’ll raise
my head from between milk-glass
continents and say, “sing it
again. I wanna dance some-more.” we’ll be
immortal for as long as the
fusion lasts; nothing as
happy as I am right now, could even ponder death.
