Ah-Von II

Ah-Von II

A Poem by Nobody.

Ah-Von

II: Love is a chemical, space is a hole, time is a dragon. I’ve been drugged by your heart, buried in your sky and charred to ashes by every sunny moment since I met you. Back when I tried to understand, I was Lost and Miserable. Now that I've given up Hope, I am Lost and Happy.

#Understanding confusion

1: In this state, most things said aren’t meant

to be digested easily.

Understanding is the first step to gaining Control.

Gaining Control is the first back-step to destruction.

2: Rub your sweetest tears on wounded pride.

This will slow the healing process, and, thereby,

allow whatever’s inside to seep out and be touched.

3: To feel whole is to be broken.

4: You can’t win a war with yourself.

5: Dig a grave for your need to be in charge. Lay it down

someplace cold & hopeless, so that it will remember that it is dead.

Resurrection, in this instance, is the enemy of

Life.

6: Seek missing peace,

not the missing piece to the puzzle you’ve jig-

sawed from this massive mass of deadwood words.

7: If you’re still confused, then you understand

what This means.

8: Once you’re helplessly lost,

find a dirty lake or mud puddle.

Look at the filthy rippled mass of  scarred humanity on its

surface.

Then, you will find your dumb sheep.

Then, you will have your only true messiah.

Then you will be lost deep in the only solution

this place offers:

Acceptance of Lostness.

Embrace of Uncontrolled Circumstance.

9: I will not meet you in that shifty Paradise.

I’ll still be beating a diamond with a sledgehammer

because I believe there is magical water inside.

And I live thirsty.

*nothing means anything until You define It. By then, it usually means something else.

>Don't feel patronized by this ominous noise. This has been a letter to my former and future selves.<

There is something of Blake's proverbs in this piece. Each has something to offer - I liked 2, 6 and 8. 9 is a great conclusion.

Wow...this was very cool and super creative. Number 5 and 9 are my faves...but they are all simply magnificent. You have mind like a live coon trap. Cuz that trap is live and that varmint ain't going down without a fight. Great stuff man.
