Ah-Von IA Poem by Nobody.Ah-Von I: When my sanguine soul twists
like a juniper trunk, all things seem foreign. Brokenness is blind to
wholeness. I have lost you in the moonless midnight of my
existence. Yet, your sweet scent returns with each desperate
pant. #fall to glory
Last
second backstab epiphany: You scream
bubbly requiem
rain puddles from Forever’s
jet inkwell & you
almost die pointlessly
because I cannot understand the lyrics. Cold choppy
laughter
erodes hot flat palpitation.
After this
world ends, you will dance
beyond my rice paper
scruples. Serpentine
valentine, silhouette
tongue-slide, sweat-slick
poison on rose
petal skin, to cut me, chew me, drink me, enslave me ravenously
behind a scummy green
dumpster that growls
from the wrong side
of my south central mindscape. This is
why I smile fire as my time
melts. You’ve
slain me so lovely. My lion
weeps virgin blood openly on
the arena floor. Breath sinks
shallow. Pretty picture
fades like hope
mid-fall. Heart
stops to grab a bite of
anything they’ll
serve him. one more truth
kick in the Zen-guts
please: I’m nearly
alive. I’ve never
felt worse. © 2011 Nobody.Author's Note
