eyelids bounce and settle

eyelids bounce and settle

A Poem by Nobody.

eyelids bounce and settle.

opiate wave of naked warmth.

slip the grip of a worrisome cross.

one final orgasmic thrust

before the day and I deflate.

all glorious battle hymns end

like throat-slit screams.

What it is to get lucky first thing in the morning... then write orgasmic poetry over your first cup of coffee.

Many stories told all wrapped around into something divinely harsh. A quick scene which presses to so much more. I love that last stanza, so sharp with a great feeling.

your way with words tells a story that even your stories can't match. this is beautifully ugly, and shiver-making. as always.
