lovely Tuesday slaughter

lovely Tuesday slaughter

A Poem by Nobody.

lovely Tuesday slaughter

oceanic bodies smile

like winking seashells shine

in murky tide pool dreams.

 cannibal claws extend,

red lip-corner twitch

capsizes my vessel in heat.

eyes become wildfires

lapping at my invitation

to burn me upon your altar.

inside and outside of my flesh,

needs, unnamed, scream

like the sunshine

to be enveloped,

to be quenched,

to be slain.

see you coiled

in tall dewy weeds;

tongue-flickers to smell.

rattlesnake!

rattle my mystic

exoskeleton

until my leaves

lie red on the ground;

beautiful crime scene Polaroid.

cold premonitions

drip from your skin

warning me

that when I wake

from this perfect little

death there will be no

Heaven caressing my soul,

no Elysian Fields over which my

roar would roll like planets.

no new love.

no old familiarity.

just a frigid cloak of alienation.

I will be here;

still drowning in your deep

black absence.

used up,

naked,

alone.

filled up with emptiness.

happy to be

broken.

not a single tear will be.

I'm your ideal victim;

more Venus flytrap than spotless lamb.

No one writes about love with the same guttural hopelessness and passion as you do.

I will be here;
still drowning in your deep
black absence.

used up,
naked,
alone.

I felt that, down deep.

Love this, and so many good lines. This reminded me of a
one night stand...and aren't we all slaughtered...laid on the
alter for sacrifice. I also found this to me sexy my sweet.
Just delicious.....
