Cancelled Date

A picnic on the beach would have been lovely,

but, since the moon committed suicide last week,

there has been yellow crime scene tape

stretched around the entire ocean.

What an image to hold in the mind's eye. I doubt I'll ever view moonlight on the sea in quite the same way again.
