Crash Dummy Passion

Crash Dummy Passion

A Poem by Nobody.
"

Morning madness to make up sex

"

Share with me your muffin and your genocidal wrath;

all scrambled like dreams in the cold morning blades.

Feed me black sludge from the fruit of your vine

as cracked lines ‘round my eyes sink in deeper.

Love me like fire-snakes coil anhydrous timber

until I am gone, but a cancer-grey mist

that flees stark red scenes of crimes of blue passion;

stained memories fit for this fear-muzzled cur.

Abstract blur of cicadas beneath pine needle screams!

I’ve lost my ambition for flawless connection.

Slither sly neon blazes to a mountaintop Jesus,

beg frigid devil-skies for ad hoc redemption.

Share with me true laughter; the chime of churchbells;

high-howled calls to worship for feral desires.

Cold shoulder reheated to volcanic tenders;

soul-bandage for every dismembered theme.

Come scream visceral moments in guttural tones.

Midnight bones beneath dawn’s weight have fractured.

Hard demons released fluff up like lambs of peace

as your wolfish war face melts to honey.

This sounds like a normal morning in this house -
Share with me your muffin and your genocidal wrath;
all scrambled like dreams in the cold morning blades.

Dancing along the knife edge, the back and forth between darkness, light, is it worth it? Very sharp images to back up the feelings before finishing it up with the softness of satisfaction.

Such a passion in these words, experiences lived fully and deeply. I feel as if the world is spinning as I read on, as if I am seeing the world in all its most intense detail...and then it all melts into sweet honey.

I like the images a whole lot, they really bring out the poem. I love your title too, just reading it, I knew exactly what you meant and was keen to enjoy the poem more. Very good write.

no one does this better thank you. My voice would be harsh with praise if I shouted it as loudly as it deserved.
"Hard demons released fluff up like lambs of peace
as your wolfish war face melts to honey." One day you'll have to send me the decoder ring you use...I'd like to be this inspired.

I have to second what Kerry said - who wants bland anyway? And as always, love your work - it's anything but bland. and favorite line in this - the last - it's perfect! great job!

the first two lines are stark and brilliant, i quite like them. genocidal wrath sounds deadly, though, not sure if i'd ask to share that. "flees stark red scenes of crimes of blue passion" mmn... i can taste the colors in that, so vivid.
