Before I Even Spoke her NameA Poem by Nobody.Neon green light bubbles in my club soda. Pagans dressed in fire colored feathers Dance beneath the disco stars. Can’t believe she wore tight-fitting sunlight To this nightclub. She turns night to day. Stoned by the thrill of a long deep stare, I wonder how perfection tastes And dream of wet flower-scented red curls Tickling every inch of me. The rhythm of her switch is hypnotic. I’ve fallen into a sea of hunger. I want to sink until I touch bottom, Grow gills and become something new. © 2011 Nobody.Reviews
