knocked out (blackened eyewitness account)

knocked out (blackened eyewitness account)

A Poem by Nobody.

knocked out

(blackened eyewitness account)

a vicious sneer

meaty meteor crashes down

percussive explosion

planet wobbles on its axis

knees buckle, straighten, fail

sound of a pencil cracking

angry world blurs

fades

something slimy swims in my belly

the eye-watering smell of ammonia

thinly laced with a whispered scent of chocolate

sunny warmth trickles my chin

falling tastes like copper wire

night curtain falls with me

I  hear

laughter from deep

in the cold black forest

feel gritty stone pressed

to my cheek

I forgot to unplug the coffee pot

something somewhere is burning down

I feel my head lift

and

drop

but all senses have failed

this is incredible. it's almost as if you've spit the words onto the page to rid yourself of them...

The sub-title of this poem really made me laugh...
What can I say except: You tell it like it is without missing a beat!
