swollen nerves

swollen nerves

A Poem by Nobody.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

why should I explain to you why I see  you as a bear

trap? old red paint has faded orange, but the jagged edges

shine. omens scrum to touch my eyes. lies mosquito-bite.

I can see the stormy skyline even though the sunlight

blinds me. the cows have all laid down like sick dogs. the anxious

cell phone signal sags. the devil-eyed bats are squealing

brakes. I brace for the bruised collision.
