rampant blue forever

rampant blue forever

A Poem by Nobody.
"

completely lost in the brushstrokes

"

rampant blue forever

sings a sonnet to my eyes.

elegiac, yet, majestic,

as I melt into the weirs.

through green labyrinths of chaos,

churches pray, soft, in wind-swayed pines,

and dreamy downhill oaken stairwells

embrace eternal stone.

her stare adrift with sparkle,

buzzing satellites and stars

fade slowly into royal purple night

and a powdered azure face.

my feeble world is overwhelmed

by motionless explosion.

a comet who sleeps in an ice block

lain before my unsteady mind.

rampant blue forever

sings a sonnet to my eyes.

I bask deep in imperfections

as lovely as sunset clouds.

devil flesh swaddles a poetic storm;

trapped between hunger and enlightenment.

Zen tongue slides over predator teeth.

I long for her sanguine redemption.

rampant blue forever

is a portrait of a dream

framed with love in lifeless brass;

crucified on eggshell plaster.

perhaps I’ll perish on this metal bench,

my busted red heart in hand.

they’ll frame me, too, so future eyes

can gaze upon honest pain.

sad poem. very sad poem. also, very good poem. it gets a little ambiguous but your writing always has a way of grounding itself, which is very necessary in a poem like this. read it four times. rends the heart, feeds the brain. first of yours ive read that is distinctly somber, but not overtly morbid. i like it.

That is great work. Great. I've loved it from beginning to end, and you use some great words, and the imagery is mesmerizing once you begin to read it. I was captivated. Honestly. I loved it and you did a great job on it.

beauty dwells in this poem... I have never been to a "real" art museum, but judging from this, it can be quite the experience... ^.^
