I still learn

I still learn

A Poem by Nobody.

on smooth center of shaky moment

dances angelic tragedy,

singing shapeless howl;

bleeding viral emotion

her new winter has a defOrmity;

a quiet slope of soul

that nobody pretends to notice

and somebody dreams about

habitually

she’s correct when she screams,

but I forget about correctness

when it becomes inappropriate

I slap truth in the mouth

if it seems too conspicuous

nobody likes an omen

so she and I join hands

like veteran survivors,

and murmur goopy love

like rookie victims

and

as the murderous sinking sun

turns blue waves blood red

her honesty is as nude

as my lie;

 as icy as my resolve.

she’s right enough

for the bull to relinquish

his horns

she whispers it

this time

(we were never okay)

The ending seals this...a break-up that should never have happened since the relationship should never have happened.
