(liar)A Poem by Nobody."if you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything" Mark Twain
all I wanted was to see your bones your bone-saw tongue slit my fancy lie spliced our simple souls crushed our safe separation
metal <<on>> metal f r i c t i o n
remember?
in that sinful salvation we were resurrected zombie cherubs aflame phantom limbs creaking in the thoughtless breeze
remember?
fire faces! kerosene tongues! burned my temple down turned my apple black twisted my mystery until my tears had wild wings wings had hungry holes my holes had holy you to embrace inflame unfix
in that spontaneous grave we were almost nothing we were children again for a blessed thought for a mischievous taste
remember?
.o. you don’t? (liar) © 2012 Nobody.Reviews
