Gravity

Gravity

A Poem by Scarlet Opal

I await the day
of when my forgotten half
will find me.

I suffer the night
to someday feel his embrace
console me.

I will wait,
I will wonder,
I will be patient.

He will find me,

He will find me.

Wonderful piece.

"He will find me,
He will find me."

I love this ending. It's as if in the first line she's really just saying it to convince herself and in the second one she decided to believe that it is true.

Keep up the great work!

Love the simple and soft tone, as night longs for day and the embrace of love. The echo at the end seems to be a firm assurance that love will rise on you like the morning sun. Can't wait to read more!
