Perfection

Perfection

A Poem by Sam

If I had courage instead of fear,
For me at last would you shed a tear?
If my weakness was strength,
Would you still have that sneer?
If my darkness was my light,
For me at last would you cheer?
If my demons where departed,
Would you hold me once dear?
If my sadness was turned to joy,
Finally, would you come near?
If my indolent became labor,
Would at me you you still stare?
If at last I was perfect,
Would you even at all care?

Nice! For me it draws on an idea that for some we can never be enough,
No matter how perfect we try to be. I like how you ask questions, yet have no answers. Thanks for sharing.
