Silver dreams

There was a boy in my home town
Who dreamed of stars and sky
Of kings a queens with silver crown
And watching days go by
He dreamed of new a different lands
Filled with snowy gems
Beaches covered in golden sands
And watching new a.m.
He dreamed of brave and valiant acts
Adventures quest and all
Making new and off beat tracks
And following winds call
He wished to sail the seven seas
And live a pirates life
He dreamed to drift amongst the breeze
And escape the cities strife
He wished to wander all the worlds
And sleep beneath the stars
He dreamed to watch his path unfurl
And see his hard won scars
He's now a man old a grey
Happy he's completed his dreams
And remembers all his days
