THE WRONG TURN

Feel like I took the wrong turn

Somewhere along the way

I might have been wrong 

 All along, believing in a dream !...

 

It was all a lie, 

I've been fooling myself

This is the life, the reality

Which we have to accept

 Sooner or later...

Please ...

God give me strength

To make things right,

To steer my life back to reality,

Back to ' life'...

So persona thinks he has taken a wrong turn, meaning that things aren't the way s/he thought they would be. But s/he knows that it is not the end of the road. S/he can make a u-turn and start over. and the persona is trusting in God to help him/her to change the course of his/her life.

This poem bears a powerful message. Sometimes things go so bad in life that on one point, the feeling of realness is lost and the feeling of an illusion is gained but an illusion can be broken by the help of your self and others, for one can find strength in the kindness of others. I really like the way you stop such a powerful message in such a small poem but the greatness of a poem does not lie in its length, for I can see that your poem is great and that you lack no talent. Never stop writing and feed the world with your thoughts that must be shared.
