蛍光愛A Poem by Jake Brunton08-27-2016. A prose of dreams and romance.
In the Spring
with the dazzling cherry blossoms The fragrant wind caressing your face And your smile it warms my heart I want to be with you but it's a web-thin dream Here is the paddies along the road we used to walk Ever so slowly it all... begins to die around me and all I can do is attempt to nourish it with tears In the Autumn with decaying trees The brisk, lonely wind caresses my face And I frown my heart runs cold I want to be with you but that was a dead dream How long has it been? Since we've last held hands Yesterday is the proof of my sorrow And the present is the knife driving deeper and deeper and... all I can do is watch In the Spring the sepia tones of the world Our love flourishing my life We happily walk along the paddies we happily smile Our dead bodies- We will be together forever © 2016 Jake BruntonAuthor's Note
