UmiA Poem by Jake BruntonWritten 3/30/2016
To you, my dear in the sea
I give you my letter of love and devotion All of my emotions and memories and all of my love and laughter are given to you in the sea as I am left with tears I write this letter to your decayed self that rests ever so gently in the sea's grasp And I entail all of the times I'm thankful for; all of the times we were in love. Please continue to cut my heart into a fine sashimi My dearest sailor dead in the sea; my walls are lit of the sea's night refraction and the stellar sight makes me think; should I join you? I'll pack all of our mementos and I'll follow you into the sea and we'll love again And then the water flooded in~ © 2016 Jake BruntonAuthor's Note
