Blood Stained Julie

Blood Stained Julie

A Poem by Jake Brunton

Day to day this goes on, Julie.
The feel of pot steam really gets old, doesn't it?
No worries Julie, you can do it. I hope.
Day to day this goes on, Julie.
You're being struck by the "love" of your life.
Julie, can you go on?

fly away julie, fly away into the sky
fly away julie, fly away never to say goodbye
fly away julie, commit your act now
fly away julie, fly away
you're free now.

There you go, standing in white.
Mother always loved her night gowns
I don't think it suppose to be red though-
Oh Julie! You damned devil you. Time to go down town.
Julie, day to day, your life will be more misery
Julie, day to day you will be suffering.
You can't be free
not for this.
