Whispering Wind

Fallen snow covering rooftops, pigeons walking on tiles, claw prints intertwined.

Water changing colour becoming ice, scattering light.

Air being trapped on the tips of ice crystals, appearing a beautiful white sight.

Cold wind blowing with a loud whispering sound, hurting my mind.

Triggering memories of a lifetime with you, years and years rewind.

Waking up from the pain in the past, my aching heart confined.

Wavelengths of red, orange and yellow releasing the sun, becoming free as the moon appears bright.

Been doing a lot of reflecting and remembering lately...some seasonal, some not. Changes in the weather are not for the better unless snow is your thing around here. I won't begrudge the snow though. There's bound to be many who love it. I know my little one does. I do like listening to the soft breezes blow across the frosty window. Your poem is lovely.

Snow turns the world into pure magic. What you are used to seeing is erased and replaced with something completely different. İt transforms landscapes into serene white blankets, creating a visually stunning contrast with the environment.
