i wasnt a liarA Poem by $êlvånLast evening I got a reason, Self-sufficient to forget my love, To overcome my craze, To underestimate my reach…… The prize you gave was so special, The title that I expected the least, And you called me a liar, Liar for the world, And sometimes for my dreams…… Nothing other could have stabbed so deep, Enough to tear me apart, Lying shattered under darkness, And trying enough to light up these nights…. I may be a liar, But you could have given a another reason, A reason which may heal, A reason which may be dealt, But I’m now afraid to speak, And laugh with world…. Ironical did it seemed for a while, For I was true only to you, Sharing each atom of mine, Without any curtains, And without any shades, But I’m fine, With all that’s happened, For its my fault, For being so close, For being so intimate….
