Blind

Blind

A Poem by Trisha Clark
"

Ignore the cliche. ;) Again, a restore.

"

They say,

Love is blind

when it defies

all the lines

you drew to remind

your heart

to agree

with your mind.

But I say,

Love is blind

when you see

things in me

that lead you

to believe

that I am wrong

where once--

I was right.

Baby,

It's not me

that's broken--

it's your sight.

This is great.

Short and not-so-sweet.

Hits the point straightaway.

Brilliant write.

Hoo-Yahh!! well spoken! it's a fantastic "i am woman hear my roar" write! when you figure out how to evoca these let me know - i love your rhythm!! do you perform? you should perform this! your strength would certainly bring the house down. great Trisha

yes, it is cliche, but there are times when that is justified - just like here, and now. I especially loved the ending.
"baby
its not me
(thats broken)
its your sight"
Yes, but sometimes Love is Blind because they refuse to see!
