It Done Me With a Poison

It Done Me With a Poison

And so I said, inside my head, I
     Wonder how I'll do this,
Killing me, my society
It done me with a poison,
When I was born, it numbered me, I
     Never thought I'd do this,
And if I must, a function of lust, I
-I'm not afraid to do this.

The calm confidence of a Christian with
A flush draw and four aces,
This multi-purpose sunset serves
     Only a single purpose,
And why's it that these wars and acts
     Are one single man's disgraces,
And Einstein's wrong, I all along
     Gravity can never hurt this.

Odious I, I climbed this high
     To those so popular,
Very well, I leaped from hell, I
     Preyed on my own shadow,
Backwards bullets, they hit my eyes, I
Was blind and saw so far,
Such a way I'd die today, I
     Saved us all from shadows.
