The Alien

The Alien

A Poem by Selentic
"

Broke.

"

On a gray day,     after noon
Alien came,     to my room, to
Tell me,     what he lost,
What he thought, he'd
Die alone       And
Hey there,     couldn't you
Spare me some that
Green perfume, Like a
Pay day,     but with alien
Mooching me for cash,
It's a cash cache,     Full
Of ash, Dining out
On emptiness, he
Understood, overwhelmed
With sorrow,     and he froze
When he knew
Beggars die alone
