Sometimes I Still Think Of You At Night

Sometimes I Still Think Of You At Night

A Poem by Sel

Walks at our park
Our spot behind the bleachers
Reading our sonnet in the dark
Maybe I was always just a dreamer

Even after all thats been said and done
Your attempts to befriend me once more failed
The thought of you can make me go numb
Your true intentions veiled

The tears I cried
After every time you lied
Forgiveness must be earned
But first you have to learn

Learn of my pain that accompanies me at night
Learn of your wrongs
Learn of our wrongs
My attempts at being polite
Sometimes I still think of you at night

Very direct and to the point. Sounds like someone has been wronged and someone else is seeking forgiveness of some sort. Nice one.
