The Chain of our Love

The idea behind this poem was to highlight how time can add strength to love.

The chain of our love is 25 years thick

Our unfettering bond withstands any sized wave

Against tempests and storms it will never cave

The chain of our love is 25 years reinforced

Every link a hammer bound memory

Each union tight with an unforgettable story

The chain of our love is 25 years polished

It glimmers as a testament to love

Each day together spent we mesh like a diamond glove

The chain of our love is 25 years short

Nothing but a short stride in our tale

We know our love will grow forever and never fail
