I can see it

I can see it

A Poem by Rivaxorus

I'm frustrated, beyond belief
It's not just a word either
It isn't just the word

It's me, not you honestly
There is not jut one word
To describe it

The pain in my eyes
the pain in my head
the pain in my fingers

I don't think its real
None of it really
It's in my mind

That only makes it worse -
More complicated than I thought
More real than I thought

You can't touch it,
you can't brave it
I can't make you happy

There are signs -
signs that I see
I don't think you know

I see your emotions
in every word you write
in every emotion they have

Even if they aren't real -
they're people of imagination
but then I digress

I recoil -
stay away
in the darkness

There isn't one word -
to describe this feeling
"frustration"

Frustration is nothing like depression. In my opinion. But it has it's similarities.

I like this piece. It shows what frustration's all about. x

Frustration is so much like depression, I feel. Both have a tight grip but elude. Very emotive writing, this one. I like how it goes.

Powerful emotion and thoughts described in the poem.
"The pain in my eyes
the pain in my head
the pain in my fingers"
Frustration can lead us to dark places and dead- ends. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
