Story idea prompt huh!

so here's my prompt for my new story idea.

It's set way in the future, where most of the countries have either been conquered or destroyed themselves. In the fictional future country of The Rowan Empire it has been a few generations since a deadly rebellion has set being gay/lesbian or attracted to the same gender(As well as being trans-gender) punishable by death. The story takes place in the town Lowwater, the main character is a grown gay man who has to live his every day in a lie out of fear. There are plenty of underground gay bars, and places for gay youths and the like to hang out. Since it is seen as genetic, there are no "gay to straight camps" simply imprisonment and in severe cases death.
