Forbidden loveA Poem by RivaxorusAs a child I was told a story, of the king and the man, but then I grew to know, that the people were the ones at fault
There once was a kingdom
Ruled by a king And this king was adored Whatever he did He was king He was noble And purebred Even if he got angry, the townspeople said But there was a man that this king loved A man of no power Of truth and pain A man who was noble but to no reign The king was convinced to make this man his So he rode off in his horse To return with a blessing But once he received this blessing it was too late When the king rode upon the kingdom And entered so proud What he found Was there was no longer a man left to love © 2014 RivaxorusAuthor's Note
