Modesty of the Panic and Swoon

Modesty of the Panic and Swoon

A Poem by Sehkmet

I tied them down beneath my shadow

Would you like to come and play?

Slowly bound beneath my cape

Further in begin dreams of fate

Sorrowful sickening sea seeking sights sin and sanity

How ungrateful the pleading of plundering promises like piracy

“Sadly”

Developed before enveloped by the currents of calm after calamity

I’ve disguised my words as a window or are they a mirror of insanity

“The tried breath”

As my shadow begins to smother there lies

Would you like to come in… play?

Slowly bound around there fate

Further in began dreams too fade

Aching echoes eating aimlessly a vast ageless elders

Through time its there logic that ruined us for better

“Before closed eyes”

For tomorrow I’ve changed there minds

Whilst today my shadow loves there lies.

Sehkmet,

Brilliant.

Honestly, first glances have the tendency to be naive. One must have been consumed by this darkness {at one point - very least} to have the ability to understand such measures.

Appearances' - vague depictions of what we choose to see, this poem is much deeper than that of it's outwardly expression. It is a piece of artistic silence that requires a specific taste.

The keys to opening this poem... (my opinion).

"Developed before enveloped by the currents of calm after calamity"

"I’ve disguised my words as a window or are they a mirror of insanity"

Sehkmet, do me a favor and never stop your constant evolving...

Most Enjoy'd,

Legacy
