Magic happens

The poem reflects the time when I realized that magic do happens ;) And the time when I witnessed Love.

 

A night drowned in lightlessness

Guarded by the wind, so cold.

Relishing and whispering the words unsaid.

And soothing essence taking the hold.

 

I stepped out on the road, so calm

Moving as I tried to gather myself

I knew I was going right

For this would lead me to Heaven’s arms.

 

Moving forward with mild steps

Piercing through the eager wind

I held my breath and saw you,

With the corner of my eye, standing still.

 

I reached for you, a silent smile
We kept walking, miles and miles.

For the path was no longer alone

With each other, the time flies.

 

Teasing, frowning, laughing, talking.

Silly jokes and aimlessly walking.

Soon the things became so smooth

The sharing and affection began to soothe.

 

And as we passed that small hill,

Eyes froze and time stood still

For what we saw was not of this world

Oh my, it was moon, liking glowing lantern.

 

Perfect was that moment, the bliss and delight

You, Me, The Moon and Twilight.

Lost, overwhelmed and mesmerized we went,

For MAGIC HAPPENS- indeed a beautiful sight.
