A Child's Reasoning.A Poem by Bryan SeftonInnosence.
I held the flower with tender care
I felt the Lord had put it there Especially for me to find I thanked the Lord for being kind Such a present on my birthday! I picked it up and went my way To love it for an hour or more But sunshine beckoned through the door So I forgot it when I went to play When I returned, it had pined away The Lord gave it for me to care It hurt to see it hanging there I cried for what I'd failed to do Outside, the Lord was crying too © 2022 Bryan SeftonReviews
