A Child's Reasoning.

A Child's Reasoning.

A Poem by Bryan Sefton
"

Innosence.

"
I held the flower with tender care
I felt the Lord had put it there
Especially for me to find
I thanked the Lord for being kind
Such a present on my birthday!
I picked it up and went my way
To love it for an hour or more
But sunshine beckoned through the door
So I forgot it when I went to play
When I returned, it had pined away
The Lord gave it for me to care
It hurt to see it hanging there
I cried for what I'd failed to do
Outside, the Lord was crying too

What a sweet, fun read, Bryan. We all love to bring he beauty and scent of flowers into the house. We just need to remember to care for them so we can enjoy the beauty longer. Of course, when God trusts us to do something, we better do it! I enjoyed the read! Temp

What a delight to read Bryan. This scenario played out so well in my mind. Reminded me of when I was little and my Nan would say, if you pick the flowers they will die. Leave them there for everyone to enjoy their beauty. We learn by the mistakes we make. Oh, the innocence of childhood.Happy Saturday to you.
