Potential for Everyone

Related to another poem I wrote here, felt like expanding on it

No one is born equal, it's what makes the world the way it is
Everyone has a chance to succeed in their life and show why they're exceptional, in an ideal world that is.
Today we treat each other like, well it's like s**t
Sure, everyone has to work to get to where they want in life, no one gets by for free
But it makes us a bit better if we make it so that everyone has the opportunity to go far, so that the only person they have to blame is themselves
What kind of people are we if we can't do even something like that
No this isn't a specific equality for one race, it's in general
We have the potential to see a world where we can treat each other as equals,
And prove we can change from this cycle we're stuck in
Not every hero is remembered, but that's what makes them so important.
