the bite of sun on my neck

soothed by the wind's tongue,

running cool against my skin;

Here and gone,

whispering comforts of renewal

and a promise of perfection.

hey this poem kind of reminds me of the song "In Color" by Jamey Johnson. You should listen to it!
This leaves you feeling good and that you should never lose hope. Quite a bit in this for such a small poem!
