Heart Beat

Heart Beat

A Poem by Christina Nichole

I never thought, that I’d feel this way about anyone.
Every time I talk to you just fills me with this emotion.
And sometimes it’s so hard to control,
I’ve rarely had this much devotion.
To anything, or anyone for that matter.
Honestly, I can say this is a first.
The way you laugh just makes my heart skip,
And with each touch I fill with lust and thirst.

Your smile brings on one of my own.
It’s almost like some spell you’ve cast on me.
And yet I find myself wishing it never to be broken,
For that means freedom from the one thing I need.
I know this isn’t much, but it gets my point across.
I think about you constantly, and never want it to stop.
So when we finally meet, face to face,
I’ll gaze upon your beauty, and guarantee my knees will drop.
