Roses

Roses

A Poem by Christina Nichole
"

Again, just more thoughts that I thought sounded pretty.

"
Leaving like a petal from a rose
Falling to the ground away from home
Each time leaves the rose barer
Stripping it of its colors and beauty
And the petals blow away
In the wind to find a new home
But not all is sad in the dying of a rose
For when the plant withers away
A new life emerges
New, more colorful petals
Take the place of the old
And bring with them a new
And refined beauty not had before
The beginning of a new Rose
