Breathe

Breathe

A Poem by Christina Nichole

The wind blows the cool breath
Of a passing onlooker.
It travels to the flowers
It fills their lungs with sweetness,
That is passed on, the rabbits
Nibble on the petals.
It nourishes their souls.
Until that timely day that the
Foxes have victory.
The foxes travel far, until they
Reach a place unknown.
A blast is heard,
The hide falls limp.
As man reclaims the breath that was stolen.
