False Redemption

False Redemption

A Poem by Hidden Poet
"

Ever feel the pain of being alone?

"

My eyes gaze upon a blinding light.
As my Vision slowly begins to focus,
Your beauty like a waterfall glistening in the Sunset,
and Soul even more beautiful than words can describe.
I knew that when i saw you I had been Rescued.
Rescued from this deep emptiness inside.
A vast emptiness left only by being alone.
Hope surrounded my Soul once more.
As if gazing into the eyes of Sanctity.
My Redemption has finally come.
As I begin to move toward your everlasting light.
You seem to only become more distant.
Have my hopes of finding you been distorted?
Am I doomed to live with this Emptiness for an eternity?
My search goes on..

This is beautiful and I can definitely relate to feeling like what you want most is always out of reach. I love how you worked the syntax here and capitalized the important words to show emphasis, or at least that how I perceived it haha. Very well done. =)
