Earth and Sky

When I consider the heavens...i know that love exists....

I think of you once and awhile

when a starry night enchants me.

I see your eyes instead of Orion

sparkling, questioning

without disguise.

You remind me of the sky

for you cheer me up

even when I'm already happy.

You add zest to life!

 

Will you take me

to your world where Music

doesn't stop?

When strings and flute

fill the air and sadness

is a thing of the past?

Let us escape

and leave the humdrum

of our busy lives.

 

You are my sky

with your wide embrace

your gentle face

and smile are all

I need to be peaceful.

You are my earth

in a vast space

so wide that I can run

in the field of who

you are.

 

I will love you

as the skies twinkle

in your eyes

and the meadows

bring out its

flowers

and the days

turn to years

and years
