Prisoner of Words

Prisoner of Words

A Poem by A. L. Robinson

They say through the words

of a poet,

you can paint beauty into pain.

Wish I could paint that

picture pretty.

To write myself free,

of the hell I created.

Wish the pages would

swallow my tears.

Separating my

(securities)

from the lines they fall

(in) between.

Instead they reflect

upon me, a

prisoner of what

I feel, but cannot say.

Wow. I really wish more people would read and comment on your poetry because it is absolutely touching and mind blowing (perhaps before the infamous crash you had many reviews, I don't know).
