this is you best line in my humble opinion, it is a very good metaphor
love is a very esoteric, intangible, emotional concept, and can inspire some of the best metaphoric atmosphere
i also recommend trying to write without rhyming everything, it can limit your ideas
try writing as you speak sometimes
but definately keep on writing
