Restless Rain

Pitter patter as the drops fall from the clouded atmosphere
Rain misted my tears and mixed joining for no one will know
Left unaccompanied in the restless rain waiting for you to be here
Jaded droplets splatter to the ground as tears did start to flow

Relentless restless rain pounding down harder leaving me cold and wet
Rain heavily pouring from the sky hiding the sound of my pounding heart
Drowning in loves misery under the dark clouds surrounding my regret
Indecisiveness reigns of what of us as I depart
