A pianists plight

A pianists plight

A Poem by Seantesunflower

Looking at the keys of my piano, I have drawn a blank
Never has this happened to me before
I bury my head in my hands as my heart has sank
No words or lyrics to define my love anymore

Images of us fleeting through my head
Memories encircle timeless lullabies
There are no rhymes to the things that were said
No lyrics can be written for your goodbyes

I try to play a melody but cant seem to stay on key
The black and white keys on my piano are blurred
Dreams Cast Shadows of Ebony and Ivory
How can I write a song with none of loves words?
