MERE XII

MERE XII

A Poem by Seanne Tholltree
"

a sequel of MERE X

"
I don't know where to start,
I can't put up the right words to describe the happiness I'm feeling right now.
The smile that I can't erase every time I think of you,
Even in waking up in the middle of the night,
A tinge of smile and chuckle flashes in the corner of my lips.
Until now I can clearly hear how you utter my name,
The sweetest melody to my ear.
I don't know what makes you so special to me
That by just hearing, seeing and imaging you
Makes my lips stretch unconsciously
Then leads to an unexplainable happiness.
I hope you feel and think the same as I do.
Maybe you are my animus; I see my personality in you,
Well whatever it is you just left a mark that is merely inerasable!

Great!!! This poem of yours is just great. The words seems to come together into one harmonious plot and here I can imagine every word come to life. A smile? Happiness? Someone who makes you smile without you even knowing it? That is just lovely. Thanks for sharing this one. ;)

I enjoyed this poem. It felt like old places and old ways of thinking. I like the desire and the hope in this poem.

Makes my lips stretch unconsciously"
