MERE XX

MERE XX

A Poem by Seanne Tholltree

Will it return?
15 years ago when
We were still sharing joy,
Laughter and naughty plans that ends with tears.
Then little by little shallow fights occur,
That decreases the supposedly sweetness of sibling hood.
Now, we were able to pass a day without a word that transacts from our mouth.
Good thing the memories of our childhood were framed,
in that way I could somehow encapsulate the scenes.
It so happen that we can pick friends but not a brother.
I miss you! I long to know your nooks and crannies in life
And so do I want to share mine.
Remember when we tongue to tongue?
You said mine is salty and I said yours is bland.
For the second time will it return or
Will our relationship be a mere "no U-Turn?"

I love this poem- my favourite line would have to be "good thing the memories of our childhood were framed, in a way i could somehow encapsulate the scenes." I feel as though a lot of people could say this about somebody. Great work!!

thanks
U-turn can be two sided. People change and sometime not for the better. A very interesting tale in the poem. I like the way you ended the excellent poem.
