RealityA Poem by The TravelerThere is a moment When you are in a different country With no familiar face to see And you’re just walking Along the streets of this foreign land Or along the shore upon the sand There is a moment When it feels as if all reality has escaped And you can feel it start to shape The person you are turning into But you still don’t have a clue You don’t know what tomorrow holds Or what this world will unfold Reality is right now Wherever you are in the world Whatever you are doing Even if it’s traveling Or working in an office Or at a school Or using tools It doesn’t matter because reality is now What matters is how You live in your reality Because frankly It’s always your choice You have the loudest voice There is a moment When the road becomes a home The excitement of the unknown You don’t know who you will meet Or what you will do next But as long as you’re out there With the wind in your hair All I seem to do is stare Off into the distance And all I see is Happiness Awe Joy Laughter It’s these moments I live for that makes life matter With all that joy and laughter Could this really be What is your reality? © 2017 The TravelerReviews
