Desolation

Desolation

A Poem by Sean Ravensdale

Dark flares consume from within.
Void grows and devours everything.
Suffering in silence, keeping all in.
Turning to tears for a childish whim.

Everything looks dark and grim,
In this war of love I am in.
I know zero battles I will win.
I'm too much of a coward to begin.

Gloom and chaos is what I feel.
Tortured soul attached to the wheel.
A poison not strong enough to kill.
A black hole only you can fill.
